Lesson One offers two workshops that provide
principals, teachers, and school staff with all of the necessary tools
to incorporate Lesson One into the school culture.
These exciting and hands-on workshops use a multimedia format to make
Lesson One come alive. The first workshop, entitled Lesson One Foundation
Skills, sets the groundwork for the ABCs of Life and focuses on the
Art of Teaching, the Pledge for Success,
and the skills of self-control and Self-Control Time. The second workshop,
Lesson One Culminating Skills, reviews the foundation skills and
discusses the skills of self-confidence, responsibility, thinking and
problem-solving, and cooperation.

search for and writing of grants.

Replication Materials Included
- Lesson One Teacher Guidebook
for each classroom. Included in the Guidebook is 1) The Art of Teaching,
a guide to creating a classroom environment that is positive and that
sets consistent limits; 2) The Art of Using Lesson One: ABCs of Life,
a step-by step guide to teaching the ABCs of Life; and 3) The Art of
Replication, a booklet that answers the most frequently asked questions
and helps teachers incorporate the program into their everyday classroom
environment.

for each classroom.
- Lesson One Worksheet Collection.
Each grade level will receive worksheets for each skill area.
- Lesson One Toy and Game Collection.
The collection contains unique games and educational toys that make
experiencing Lesson One: The ABCs of Life fun.
- Lesson One Children’s Literature
Collection. A collection of grade level books for each specific
skill. Suggested discussion starters are provided to promote student
interaction and enhance learning.
- Lesson One Administration Book.
A comprehensive guide that provides you with all the information to
prepare for the Lesson One visit. This resource book also offers suggestions
and recommendations from other schools that are utilizing the Lesson
One program.
- Lesson One: The Book for every
classroom teacher. (The book is only included in the Lesson One Foundation
Skills workshop.)
Pricing
The cost of the Lesson One School Workshop is based on the number of staff
members. We would be happy to provide a cost estimate for your school.
