Many schools have received grants to integrate
Lesson One: ABCs of Life into their curriculum. Among the many grant categories
that are applicable to Lesson One are RTII, Safe/Drug-Free Schools, Violence
Prevention, Title One, Parent Involvement, Professional Development, School
Readiness, Basic Skills, Character Education, and Early Childhood Education.
We are committed to assisting you in your efforts to secure funding for
your school community. Lesson One can help in the following ways:
- To begin researching grants in your
state, click on www.fdncenter.org/collections/.
This site will point you to the grant resource libraries in your area.
- You can also research local, state and
federal grants. Many cities, State Departments of Education and the
US Department of Education have websites advertising available funding
sources.
- Once you have identified a funding source,
please contact us so we can send you goals,
objectives, and other pertinent information to include in your grant
proposal.
